  1. Every year, Antyodaya Diwas is celebrated in India on 25 September to mark the birth anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, who developed the concept of ‘Integral Humanism’.
  2. Every year on 25 September, World Pharmacist Day is commemorated with the goal of highlighting and advocating the pharmacist’s contribution to health improvement. This year’s theme for World Pharmacist Day, “Pharmacy united in action for a healthier world”, aims to promote unity and highlight the sound effects of pharmacy on health.  
  3.  On the fourth Sunday of September every year, countries all over the world mark World Rivers Day. In 2022, it was observed on 25 September. The theme of 2022 is: “The importance of River to Biodiversity”.
  4.  International Daughter’s Day is observed every year on the fourth Sunday of September. This year the day was celebrated on  25 September. 
  5. A collection of selected speeches of Prime Minister Narendra Modi was released on 23 September, 2022 at Akashvani Bhawan in New Delhi. The book is titled ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas-Prime Minister Narendra Modi Speaks’. 
  6. Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde inaugurated New Ashti-Ahmednagar’s Railway line.
  7. Dilip Tirkey, a former India hockey captain and member of the gold medal-winning team at the 1998 Asian Games, was unanimously elected as Hockey India President on 23 September, 2022.
  8. The Minister of State for Electronics and Information Technology, Rajeev Chandrasekhar has launched the pre-production run of India’s first lithium-ion cell manufacturing facility at Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh.
  9. Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya inaugurated ‘Arogya Manthan 2022’ on 25 September, 2022.  
  10. The Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) and the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) have signed an MoU to support an outreach programme designed to promote the chemical sciences in schools and universities. 
  11. External Affairs Minister Dr. S Jaishankar hosted the G4 meeting of Foreign Ministers on 22 September, 2022.  
  12. The Assam government has decided to use the air pressure machine ‘SAANS’ to reduce neonatal mortality.
  13. Defence Ministry signed a contract on 22 September, 2022 with BrahMos Aerospace Private Ltd. (BAPL) for the acquisition of additional dual-role capable Surface to Surface BrahMos missiles.  
  14. Indian author and poet Meena Kandasamy has been announced as this year’s recipient of the Hermann Kesten Prize by the PEN Centre in Germany’s Darmstadt.
  15. The Central Govt on 23 September, 2022 appointed Dr M Srinivas as Director of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Delhi.
